How it works

From any text to a lesson built for you.

Three steps turn whatever you want to read into Swedish you can actually get through — and remember.

01

Import whatever you want to read

A news article, a recipe, a chapter from work, a text message from a friend. Paste it in and we prepare a version calibrated exactly to you — same content, language you can handle. Your imports are private: nobody else ever sees them.

Tap any word, get the meaning instantly

No dictionary tab, no losing your place. Tap a word mid-sentence and see its translation right there — then keep reading. Every text can also be read aloud with a natural Swedish voice.

03

Practice what you just read

Retell the text in your own words and answer a few questions about it. An AI tutor gives you the corrections that matter most at your level. Words you look up get saved automatically.

They come back in short daily reviews — enough to stick, never enough to feel like homework.

Hon bor i Sverige en år Hon har bott i Sverige i ett år

'år' is an ett-word, so it takes 'ett' — and use perfect tense for duration.

Common questions

How do I find my level?

When you sign up you take a 5-minute placement test: a few words to translate, then a short text. "I don't know" is a perfectly good answer — honesty gives you a better starting level. Retake it anytime from your profile.

The texts feel too easy or too hard.

Read the same text at another level with the level pills, or retake the placement test. If one specific text feels mislabeled, use the feedback button — "The level feels wrong" exists exactly for that.

A word shows "No translation yet".

The dictionary covers the ~8,000 most useful Swedish words and their common forms; rare words and names may miss. Saving still works.
